Disney Cruise Ports of Call

Disney Cruises Ports of Call

Although the Disney cruise ships themselves are a fabulous holiday destination, they're also a floating  Fantasyland, going to beauteous and foreign ports of call. If you are able to manage to pull yourself away from the activities and conveniences from the Disney cruise ships for a  couple of hours, numerous fantastic adventures await you once the ship docks.

The Disney Wonder leaves each Sunday from Port Canaveral for a four night cruise, and once again each Thursday for a three night cruise. Both itineraries include stopovers at Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay, Disney\'s personal private island nirvana. The four night cruise also includes either one day at sea, or an another stopover at Freeport, Bahamas.

The Disney Magic leaves from Port Canaveral each Saturday for a seven night cruise, and it flip-flops between cruising the eastern Caribbean Sea and the western Caribbean Sea. The Eastern Caribbean cruise includes stopovers at St. Thomas/St. John, St. Maarten and Castaway Cay, while the Western Caribbean route includes stops at Key West. Cozumel, Grand Caymen and Castaway Cay.

Mind that the passport regulations for American travelers have changed, and might  impact your travel plans. As of today, passports are needed for all travel across borders  including Mexico, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, but not for travelers who arrive by cruise ship. If this is your first cruise and you need a passport, be sure to apply sooner rather than later.
